I have been here many times for cocktails or coffee and cake but this was my first visit for lunch. I visit London a few times a year and chose to dine here before we went to the theatre. The service was efficient and pleasant and the restaurant is charming inside. Imagine a French restaurant in the 1930’s. My friend had a seared tuna salad which was amazing and I had lobster spagetti which was fabulous. It isn’t the cheapest of places but you get what you pay for. You can pre book a table on their website which I would recommend as it is always very busy.
Tried their almond waffle and believe me taste was so great that I ate this type of waffle for the first time in my life and will definitely try again and again. Price was also considerable ($8.50).
One of the best french cuisine restaurants in London.Amazing atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Try the steak tartar (awesome awesome), the fillet de boeuf (full of mushrooms) and the chicken milanese. For side options, the pommes frites, the gratin dauphonois and the sauted spinach!
