Good food, good variety, fresh and good quality. Large portions. Great prices. Friendly staff. What more could you want?
Excellent little restaurant. Oh Stefan, what a smarmy little review that was…..for 34 including wine and coffee for 2 people pre theatre ( Jersey Boys just around the corner… also excellent.. ) We were very impressed with the food, the service, and the prices. Maybe because it was lunchtime/pre theatre we did not need to be served massive piles of food on a warm afternoon. Thought the portions were just right, and perfectly prepared. I would ( and have ) recommended Bistro 1 to all my friends.
Bistro 1 covent garden. Popped in for lunch after a show in london. Excellent service, great friendly staff, quick service, great choice on menu, and very well priced for central london. Would recommend and will use again.3 course meal for under 10 can’t fault this place.
Groovy!. Great lunch venue, cheap and wuick! better than the average lunch spent at a cafe.
Good value for money. Great place to pop into for some simple but tasty food at very reasonable prices. Its a simple recipe for the place cram as many people as possible into the place get them in and out as quickly as possible and have a very simple menu to facilitate. Sometime you can feel a little rushed.Thats said though if your just after a quick bite to eat of some tasty wholesome food then its a great option compared to the overpriced / pretentious options of the area. If your after a slap up romantic dinner then try somewhere else.Well worth it, just manage your expectations.
Avoid!. I wasn’t really impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the portions were rather small. The cherry on the cake *sarcasm* however was the obnoxiously cocky Southern European waiter who seemed to think of himself as a bit of a stud muffin, flirting constantly with my girlfriend. I’m going to avoid this place in the future.
10.90 for three limited but delicious courses, just off Covent Garden. Robust Cabernet for 12.90, a really enjoyable meal for excellent value. Speedy service, maybe too quick on a Saturday night, but otherwise highly recommended
