While staying at the Covent Garden Hotel in August 2016 we had breakfast daily at Brasserie Max. The breakfast spread, service and menu options were absolutely fantastic and without doubt the most beautifully put together breakfast of any hotel Ive stayed. The continental items were fresh with plenty of choice with beautiful berries, fruit and cereals, pastries and condiments. The daily juices and hot menu items were also delicious.Later in our stay we also visited the bar for an evening drink with canaps, along with a late night tea sitting outside enjoying the street view. We thoroughly enjoyed each of our experiences.A beautiful place to enjoy time together with good quality produce and service.
Where can you get the afternoon tea trifecta of food quality, service and atmosphere? Definitely at the Covent Garden Hotel’s Brasserie Max. I’ve had meals at three of the six Firmdale Hotels in London and can honestly say they offer the absolute best deal on afternoon tea. Compared to other hotels that offer afternoon tea for easily twice the price, you can not go wrong at Brasserie Max. I have a full review with all the mouth-watering pictures on my blog Sunny in London. I had the opportunity to experience the Chelsea Tea, which was only offered over the weekend in honour of the Chelsea Flower Show. The entire experience was superior. sunnyinlondon.com
