A must go in the centre of Covent Garden! The breakfast menu is good and has plenty of options for only 5.5 (a great price for the place where it is located)! The breakfast menu is served until 12:00.
Small cosy place. We were there on a cold winter evening, and the ambience inside was very welcoming. The Christmas decoration made it special. Simple French cuisine with very friendly chef who explained the menu to us, and helped us select the best. I would definitely go back here.
Um espao muito agradvel e com uma atmosfera de uma forma muito especial. Agradvel experincia de visitar o espao, fiquei com vontade de ficar. Mas infelizmente no h mesas, so muito poucos os lugares.
Chez Antoinette is surely a place to discover. Simple but tasty, the tartines are really delicious and brings a new way of eating out in London and Covent Garden. I was there again last week and they have now introduced the croque monsieur…yummy. As they use a special bread it is really to fall for.It is my first review but not my first visit. The owner Aurelia is great and bring this little extra to the place especially when she tells you about her grand mother and how this concept came about. After that you sit back, look around and see every details which she brought and picked herself (she was interior designer before). Unlike the chain we have proper vintage furniture giving us the homy feeling I love.Important, it is not only about tartines but daily made soups and desserts by the Head Chef… That’s it I want to go back again.
I just had an amazing time at Chez Antoinette! The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. I was not expecting this in the heart of Covent Garden. The quality of food is very high and we had an outstanding bottle of St Emilion to go with it. Congrats to the staff who makes this place very special.
My boyfriend and I came here about two months ago. The place is very romantic but the food we had was definitively not up to standards. He paid 10 for a slice of bread with cream cheese and salmon, and I paid around 7 for the same thing with prosciutto. It was presented in a very simple way and the taste was so plain. Will not go there again since I can get the same thing from a supermarket for 1/10 of the price. Cannot comment on the desserts or teas since we had none. Service was nice.
Very interesting and original restaurant. It incorporates the concept of a Tartine from Lyon, which is essentially a posh slice of toasted bread in which you choose from a selection of toppings to go on top. I went for the Nutella topping as it sounded really unusual and it was very fresh and delicious. It’s nice to go somewhere and feel like you’ve had a new experience with food from various parts of the world. this was definitely the case with Chez Antoinette
