Comforting bowl of pho with huge portion. Could not finish them all at the end. The broth was very aromatic and delicious. The meat was tender. The noodle was perfect. Really heart warming soup.
I came here alone as a pre-theater meal, and this place did not disappoint. Lighting inside is a bit dim, but the staff is really nice and the menu itself has a couple of nice things offered.I ordered the bun with pork, which I really enjoyed. There was a generous serving of pork; doesn’t happen too often, so I’m happy when it does. There was a lot of everything else, too, which tasted lovely when all mixed together with the nuoc nam sauce. Walked out feeling really full, and also very healthy. Was tempted to get ice cream afterwards, but didn’t.
While restaurant hunting, we came across this gem of a Vietnamese cuisine. A cozy place to be with some good food. Could not get enough of it. It was my last supper with my colleagues before I departed for vacations. We tried out couple of dishes form the menu and they were all amazing. One thing that caught my attention was the shaking beef. it was really shaking, a must try. Summer rolls and spring rolls was really yummy too. And no Vietnamese meal is complete without the Saigon beer. Pretty cheap for the location they are in and great service. Def Recommend
First impressions was good, relaxed and cozy. The food had a clean palette as it was my first in having Vietnamese food. A good stop for dinner before theatre.
Excellent Vietnamese Restaurant. Had the lunch special (Sun-Mon 9 pounds for starter & main incl. drink). Extremely good value & very authentic dishes. Without a doubt the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in London & the closest to my favourites in Melbourne. Very friendly efficient staff as well. Definitely worth a try.
Bland & Stingy. I live near the East where Vietnamese restaurants live side by side, competing for the revellers after cheap and plentiful tasty meals and Com Viet would disappear in a week if it had to vie with them…I chose one of their specials- rice, fried duck egg, strips of pork with source and salad it said.An upturned cup of dry rice – no fragrance, shrivelled cold fried egg, strips of pork that were obviously cooked a day before and a little cup of sweet vinegar to dip it it… and a few strands of lettuce. I wish I took a photo. It was so stingy, so dry and so sad. My friend’s soup noodles which should have come with a full plate of garnish to chuck in to the bowl was also depleted. Looked like the scrapings of a chopping board. It was just…sad. If you know no better, it’s edible. Personally, it depressed me.
