I first discovered Ecco when I was staying in LSE’s halls when I’d just moved to London – for no more than a fiver (less if you’re eating in), you can have an 11 inch pizza with a variety of toppings. I had the pepperoni, and it was totally tasty. The cheese is a highlight, with plenty of it and an authentic tasting tomato sauce. It did have a slightly too-soft base in the middle and a bit too much crust for my liking, but for a cheap pizza that don’t skimp on toppings or overall taste, it’s a great place to drop into – especially if you’re on a student budget. mini-adventures.com

Can’t believe they do halal meats!! So cruel to the poor animals!! Never eat here!!! Always ask first if it is halal or not!! I just can’t eat halal meat it’s so cruel what they do to the animals!!

Student on budget means finding the cheapest food and tastiest food. Tucked off the main road a small cafe serving warm hearty pizza. You judge a place serving pizza by the pizza Margarita they serve. Simple tasty hot and with the right amount of seasoning. In 2012 they served pizzas at 3.50. Does justice to the price. My only suggestion would be if they could make the pizza less greasy. Definitely recommend the place. Take away suggested!!!

Good value for a pizza. 4.50 for a pepperoni pizza works well for lunch. Quick, speedy service and just round the corner from work. Can mix and match toppings and eat in too for a bit extra yourfoodhood.com

My girlfriend paid with a 10 note and was told (erroneously) by the staff that she has used a 5 note. Upon being asked to see the CCTV he said that it was out of order. Rather than give the customer the benefit of the doubt the manager became aggressive and unpleasant. I hope that this was simple negligence compounded by awful customer service and not outright theft. Either way this cafe cannot be recommended.

We ordered the ‘Pizza of the Day’ and in less than 5 minutes, this hand-stretched pizza was cooked to a perfect thin crust base. Also ordered the garlic pizza- A must-try for the garlic and pizza lovers. The prices are reasonable and seem to have been the same since 2010! If you decide to dine inside, you’ll be transcended to a typical New York Style deli, complete with cheese cake and fresh chiabbatta sandwiches on display.

My visit based on some good reviews turned out to be for the worse. The place turned out to be a take-away and there were plastic chairs for seating arrangement. The reviews were misleading and i didn’t find the restaurant type service i was expecting. The atmosphere accommodates zero comfort and the food ,although cheap is just okay not extraordinary.
