Historic Pub with some pretty good vibes. I got a pimms cup which was nice and strong. I liked that there was a piece of green apple, cucmber and strawberry in it. Wish there was a little bit more fruit but for a little more than four pounds it was a damn good drink. Would recommend. Good crowd.

This is a great and historical pub. When you go there you can be sure to overhear students talking about the last event in the news and discussing their lectures. This place is usually buzzing on Thursdays and Fridays. The beers are cheap and the atmosphere is very nice. Be carful the place is closed on the week end. This is a good place to chill out and meet some interesting people.

This is the pub from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and everything reminds you of that! Handly located next to the Library, the pub is always full of grad students drinking their much deserved ration of booze, be it noon on an exam date or Friday evening. The sidewalk in front of it is always packed and the place has a really cool vibe, with a pleasant mixture of traditional wooden interiors and an highly international clientele wearing anything from suits to pijamas (no time to dress up during revision…). You don’t necessarily need to be a student to come here to enjoy a pint, and the relatively low prices for such a central location make it a nice spot where to stop by. Just don’t start a conversation about politics with the guy next to you, he might well have PhD. Or definitely do it if you feel so inclined!
