What we went for: cocktailsWhat we ordered: a glass of wine and some finger foodVerdict: could have been any obscure pub in the world, was it really covent garden I would not have known. I guess the size of the group did take my attention away from what the place had to offerWould I return? Maybe

Henry s Caf Bar is an exquisite bar located in the heart of the West End, which is set across two floors and has a lively public bar. Going there during the weekend, it is advised to book a table, what we didnt do with our friends but we were lucky enough to get a table for 5 people as the waiter who was serving us was extremely friendly and helpful with getting in. The atmosphere is relaxed with good music as well as the service. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, which was 7.95 and was lighter than a usual Long Island Cocktail, but still had a really good taste as well as a bottle of white wine to share, ‘MILL Cellars Chardonnay 15.45 per bottle, which is one of my favourite with its fruity and citrus flavours. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pre-party-drink-place with friends somewhere central London yet not that overcrowded and loud as mostly all other central bars in London.

Went for Christmas party. Starter was frozen prawns thawed under the hot tap.Main was slimey under cooked beef with what tasted like bisto on it.A frozen bought in ice cream dessert.Better off at a Harvester.

Located slap bang in the middle of covent garden, this place is ideal for drinking. It large inside and I think its recently been re-done so its a decent finish inside. Food is just what you would expect in any pub – the pork and selection of burgers are a safe bet. If you go to the back of the bar and down the stairs, this is the best place to get a seat and have food.interesting last time i was in here a tramp came in and started aggressively asking people for money! the staff handled it well and managed to get him out without too much fuss. londoncurryblog.com

Henry’s an 8th out of 10.. Henry’s being right on top of Covent Garden makes this a good and easy place to meet. Limited outside seating but a spacious and snazzy interior, this venue is ideal for small parties with a vibrant atmosphere. The outside can be deceiving to how large this place really is, inside showing off a oval gallery over looking the lower ground floor. They have a good value menu, selection of starters and typical mains which include various steaks, burgers and pastas with limited vegetrian options. Childrens catering seemed nonexistent but Henry’s is more for the mature drinking age groups. Food is better than expected, and more than generous, the classic fish and chips not fitting on the already large enough plate adding to the value. There is a wide range of cocktails, wines and sparking wines/champagnes here with your usual branded lagers on tap. Service is very good, staff seemed happy to work here and could not be more helpful getting everything that we required. Unfazed the staff work rigorously serving the busy eatery. Found this a great venue to meet and greet people and share a lunch or dinner with, it’s not amazing but for what you pay for, it’s damn good and would recommend more for small groups than dating couples.
