I took my mother here for a joint mothers day and birthday treat for a champagne afternoon tea, and she loved it.Since I had pre-booked the event, all we had to do was turn up on time and wait for a 3-tier plate and a smartly dressed man pouring out our champagne and taking our drink selection.It was absolutely spectacular. The little sandwiches crust-less and the size of fingers were delicious – a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian fillings were perfect. Their desserts were immaculate – they looked beautiful and tasted great. If my phone was working I would upload the pictures.Now, I can’t lie, I used one of those groupon vouchers but I’m glad. It was pricey for a student with no income, but well worth it to treat my mother who has looked after me for all my life; and see her smile so bright.But if you get the chance, please go. Plus, the elevator to the floor was amazing. It was a mirrored, so you can see yourself at all angles. I’m not vain, it was just cool to see something like that.
