Great little seafood bar in close proximity to a few of the theatres (so easy access for a pre or post show dinner). Good atmosphere, reasonably priced and I think they also do a two course for 15 deal. Excellent ceviche with grapefruit and popcorn from the starter menu and I definitely recommend the garlic butter samphire as a side!

My favorite UK restaurant. I first discovered a Loch Fyne in Winchester, then the one in Covent Garden, then the one in Sevenoaks, Kent. I travel from the US occasionally (actually whenever I get the chance) and a trip to the UK wouldn’t be worthwhile without a meal at Loch Fyne. I once had the seafood platter with a friend and it was worth the expense. I’ll not repeat the comments of others about menu, service, ambience, etc. I have, I trust, conveyed my enthusiasm. I last ate there October 26, 2010.
Seafood Platter For 2 Does Not Disappoint. A delicious seafood platter for two was the plan for a late Sunday lunch and Loch Fyne did not disappoint. We opted for the platter with lobster but lobster requires a great deal of effort and it really wasn’t needed given the fine – and large – selection of other seafood on the plate. The oysters were the stand out item and, next time, I would make sure they were part of my order. A word of warning: the Whirebait starter was huge and unnecessary given all the platter offered. I’d avoid a starter and opt for a dessert if still hungry.A New Zealand Marlborough Riesling was the perfect accompaniment: cold, clean and crisp. Service was good and unhurried despite the fact we were really eating between the lunch & evening sittings when most of the staff would be looking to take a break.
Reasonable for a chain. Another decently safe high street chain. But why oh why is it impossible to get really good mussels in London (when excellent Scottish mussels can be had in France)?
