Worst Restaurant in London. Terrible service and food not fit for my dog. Had the worst risotto which looked the colour of sick and was undercooked. It was a shelled prawn and pea risotto. I couldnt even see the prawns in it and realised they were so small they mixed in! They were obviously from a can and were so tiny, the size of the tip of my pinky finger and I am not exaggerating. This place is a tourist trap and they don’t care about returning customers. They survive on one time tourist visits who they serve there appalling food to. And whats worse is the risotto was 11! so not cheap, mid-range. It probably cost them 2 to make. I think this place needs to be shut down as it it highway robbery. I have no idea how these people in the previous reviews thought the food was good! They must not eat out much. Mcdonalds would have been better. Hell I could cook better food!

It was a very good choice to have lunch and to do a small break. It’s located between Thames and Covent Garden, close to Strand. It’s very cosy! 🙂 (specially in such cold days!)We choosed pizzas and a Caprese salad, and both were excellent! Waiters were very nice and efficient, and we didn’t wait too much time for food. I think the drinks are a bit expensive, but that’s something characteristic all over London…It’s a good quality/value choice! 🙂 12h30.blogspot.com
Brilliant. I was taken aback by the quality and price of la piazza. the food was lovely and we had the lunch menu of 2 courses for 7.95. the staff bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and we had a baby with us that they made a great fuss of. i found it completely charming, the food delicious for the price. it was cheaper, more authentic and tastier than the chains nearby such as pizza express. if you are looking for a friendly, non chain affordable bite to eat in a central london location this is the place for you,
Worst service. Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant anywhere in the world. The waitresses were extremely rude, the food was average and we had to pay a cover charge for the privilege to sit in the restaurant. My recommendation – do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
