Great bar atmosphere and good house beers. Had the philomena’s 200g house made burger. Food was of good standard. Nice place to chill. Cozy place with screens all over making watching a game easy from anywhere in the place.
A friend and I were walking around Covent Garden close to 11pm looking for a place to eat, when I ducked into this place to answer the call of nature. By the time I stepped out, my friend had ordered a beer and was comfortable seated. Upon enquiry we were informed that the kitchen was closed and we decided to stick to beverages.Its a warm friendly Irish sports bar, with cheerful and friendly staff, and the location on Great Queen Street is premium. Its located close to Freemasons Hall, and can actually see the main door from here. The man behind the counter said that they sometimes had a band playing live music.
