Please do not visit this restaurant, the food and service is way below average. PS. The restaurant informed us that their policy requires that you to order one main dish per person, which is not written on the menu and was only informed once we were placing the order.

Cheap and cheerful Indian cuisine.A friend and I popped in here after a show as it was one of the few places still open after 9pm. Service was hit and miss with some staff friendlier than others but food came quickly. My aloo gobi could have been spicier and the garlic naan was a little doughy but it was still tasty enough and prices were decent.I wouldn’t recommend this for a nice meal out but if you’re in the area, looking for somewhere late-night with decent food then it’s fine. morethangreens.com

Late Friday evening after getting our fix at Lamb and Flag (which doesn’t serve food after 5 pm BTW), we were hunting for a place to eat. Everything was shut or were already done with last orders. This was still open. Terrible service, even though the place was empty. Food was okay. Too spicy and really, killed my sense of taste. Naan wasn’t great either. On my Indian food trail,1. Gymkhana2. Saravanan Bhavan3. The Kati Roll Company4. Manjal5. Woodlands6. Bermondsey Tandoori7. Bengal QuayDo not try / give it a miss!8. Punjab9. Give it a miss. If you like being insulted then this is place to go.I appreciate that this was late in the evening and was close to closing time. My partner an I were returning to our hotel after a concert. On entry to the restaurant the waiter checked with the owner who was sat in the corner, if was okay for us to come in. We were shown to our seats, and thrown a menu on the table. The waiter came straight over asking for our order, he didn’t listen to anything that was said. I had to repeat myself over and over again, that was just to order a drink, asking what we wanted to eat I was then told to hurry up whilst gesturing with his hand! After a brief exchange of words and the owner trying to justify that it was late, well if it was late simply say sorry we are closing. With attitudes like this I am amazed that this restaurant remains in business. I Would not go back to this place if it was the last Indian restaurant in London.
