Stunned by the variety of ales they have, I chose to sit there to enjoy mine rather than going upstairs. Although my selection of an ale was pretty good, I still don’t remember it’s name. An old-fashioned ambience and feel of old British bars have been kept intact inside. The seating upstairs was more comfortable as compared to the one down but still spending time with great locally brewed selections and friends there will be worth it. I would have rated the place as 3 due to uncomfy seating but the options of so many ales just kept me inside for a while.
Kind of a nice place. Very friendly hosts seriously, it feels like coming home with different people around you. These lovely vibes here will get you going all happy. Try this place if your around here at least once.
Such s cute pub. Thy have a little hidden street in the back which gets crowded after 17:00 with everyone drinking beers. It’s a really fun atmosphere and the beer choices are amazing! Go go go!
Excellent beers consequently well respected by the CAMRA crowd. This pub is always packed, yet service is always prompt. As shocking as it may be to other pubs, they have the right number of people serving. Do not come here looking for a gastropub though as the only food you get here are sausages in baps. What do I mean only! The sausages are top quality, top taste and all in a soft floury bap.
The Harp is tucked away just out off of the main hustle and bustle of central London, and offers much more than your standard London pub.The amazing, ever-changing selection of Ales from both international and well known/up and coming London brewery’s makes this a perfect place for seasoned CAMRA Ale snobs and complete Ale novices alike. From Hoppy Craft beers, so your Dark Porters, it has the lot, and the staff are more than happy to let you try and range before you buy anything (Hic!)The warm, friendly atmosphere all year round makes you feel incredibly welcomeThey also serve their own locally sourced Gourmet sausages which really need to be tried to be believed.
I love this pub. The atmosphere is excellent. It meets all of these criteria and is undoubtedly one of the best pubs in London! The range of beers and ciders is unbeatable and has some very strong scrumpies! One of the advantages of this place are the sausages. You must visit this place! This is very popular with locals, but tourists get a very good reception.
The Harp is a pint-supper’s paradise, conveniently located near Trafalgar Square and selling excellent beer and bar food. The feel is of the traditional London pub, with a lovely interior in dark wood and plenty of comfy seating. It gets extremely busy after work with drinkers spilling out in a crowd often five deep into Chandos Place. Forget sitting down after 5 PM, though the well practiced bar staff manage to keep the wait for that post work pint down to a manageable length.
