Great service and wonderful setting but the food isn’t to the perfection, and tend to be without any dressing ! It’s a cool restaurant for a date or so but don’t expect to see anyone under 30 !

My first time at The Ivy (the original in Covent Garden) it couldn’t go better. It was unfortunate to have pre dinner drinks somewhere else in Soho. However, we had enough time and energy to enjoy this new addition to the venue after dinner. The list of drinks includes the finest rum from Guatemala, Strega from Italy and your favorite Scottish and Irish whisky. But of course dinner is the major attraction and it was delightful. The service gentle and very friendly, dinning floor is small but well designed so you never feel the fact there is no view to outside. The food it was excellent as expected and there was no disappointment: tender and tasty tartar and great foie gras as starter. The list of mains is generous and well selected. It’s nice to see in the menu British classics along with new creations and seafood. We were a party of three and all of us were very pleased with our options as a main: a tender and cook to perfection duck, a generous and delicious ribeye, and a liver steak as good as mum’s. The puddings were lovely. Special mention to the Window of The Ivy, which includes the famous design of the restaurant windows, on top of this creamy chocolate pudding. Best way to celebrate its 100 year anniversary. The decoration of appetizers and mains is less than exciting and it has a lot of space to improve. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to visiting this classic again, which it’s not only hidden from the view from outside, but also away from the tourists to-do list.

A great brunch spot! The flourless chocolate cake is to die for. If you’re lucky enough to get an outdoor seat in the summer its worth it. Also the melon salad is refreshing and delicious.

Great location, attentive staff, really nice food though I only had the Full English Breakfast there. The private dining room is lovely and I’d go back for dinner.

Having working in London for 12 years as per know, this is one of my favourite place to go and eat and of course been seen !!!), I don’t know if my Boss will remember the time we went as a team management : Get together kind of things, our manager had to call him, as we had already blow the budget up, but we really wanted a digestive !!! And of courses, to our surprises the answer was YES, so thank-you Boss, I am a type of guys who can eat quite a lot, so I generally have 2 starters before my first main course… Lol… I had the buratta and the ceviche were exquisite, then came the wines and the rest is history… But don’t forget your gold MasterCard ( or if you can borrow your Boss one…) You will be sure to have a good time…As always Flat Eric… les-enfants-terribles.co.uk

Went here for a group work dinner a few weeks ago. The ambiance is old school glamour, with heavy oak surroundings and the staff are dressed in crisp white shirts. The food was impeccable and even though we were in a large group everyone was satisfied and felt like they had experienced a real treat. Id love to have the opportunity to come back here again. It was an experience I won’t forget!
