This is one of my favourite restaurants in London:) I lived in London for a year & visited this place very often:) An amazing vibe, friendly staff, great food & drinks, affordable prices & an all round awesome experience:) A huge fan of Wahaca always:)
We went here around 10:30 pm (late by London restaurant standards) and were welcomed with warm smiles. The place was buzzing, large and had a great vibe. We ordered the frijoles with chorizo and a slow roasted pork burrito pumped up with cheese and a few other toppings. The food was full of flavour and the portion sizes were good. We also ordered a cucumber and jalepeno drink, it was refreshing with just the right zing of chilli. Would definitely come back here during my next visit to London.
Wahaca is one of my favourite restaurants ever. I literally came back from NZ to eat Wahaca and was a bit let down this time – the Soho branch has dropped the ball slightly. The meals are not as tasty as they once were, so would recommend the Southbank one instead.
Wahaca is one of my favourites for Mexican food! although not too authentic, I love their salads and chicken plates! I’ve tried the Sonara salad with steak, which comes in a tortilla bowl and the marinated chicken and both were really good! downside: can be a bit of a long wait! Value for money: 10-15 per person! Wahaca has been on my list of Mexican food since a very long time. Couldn’t get a chance to have it in Cardiff, Wales.Tortilla chips with tomato salsa for nibbles, quesadillas – chipotle chicken (must try), chilli and chorizo potato (for English food lovers). Mochalada was fresh. A special guava drink (with tequila) was on the table menu which I do not remember but was really good. Service was quick, staff was friendly. They even sang a birthday song for our friend and helped us get the surprise birthday cake on the table. Lovely bright interiors, good music and average price rates makes it an awesome place for a weekend night. Or whenever. Will surely try the breakfast and the farmers market menu.
Whenever you re in mood for some good Mexican you have to visit wahaca ! The food was light and tasty just how Mexican should be . The ambience was great but the seating arrangement was a little squashy ! But then again anything for good food theindianorbiterblog.wordpress.com
Really good simple mexican food. I really enjoyed the quesadillas and the tacos were nice too. The sauce has a real kick, I enjoyed how fresh all the food tasted.
