In 1981, 33 year old Joe Adams opened the first Pronta Pizza store on 2nd Avenue, New York, offering a takeaway and a delivery service within a 5 block radius. Between 1983--1985 Pronta Pizza opened a number of stores across the New York state. After opening its first Uk store in Newcastle in 1987, Pronta Pizza rapidly expanded across the North of England and Scotland. After being absent from the UK since the late 1990's were now back by popular demand!
