About

A classic traditional pub with wood floors throughout, beams everywhere, an inglenook fireplace with a roaring fire in winter and wood paneling in the snug bar. The menu is traditional as well, with meals like Ham Egg and Chips, Steak and Mushroom Pie, Liver and Bacon Casserole and Fish Pie featuring and the price are old-fashioned as well, with nothing costing much more than a tenner. The landlord has a passion for ale and there are always at least six ales available in a variety of strengths and styles. Alongside the usual British-brewed lagers there are two great imported beers - Warsteiner from Germany and Krusovice Imperial from the Czech Republic - and a fabulous craft lager called Lawless from the Purity Brewery in Warsickshire. In a world here pubs are tending to pained in pastel shades and the lighting brash The Three Horseshoes is bucking the trend with warm colours, subtle lighting and with a welcome that is just as warming as the pub itself.
