We go here all the time. We are giving it 5 for its good balance of price, fast service, freshly cooked and simple meals. A perfect neighborhood restaurant.
I’m generally not a big fan of takeaways, but it sometimes is helpful to have little places like these in the neighbourhood to satisfy sudden cravings…Pomegranate is a small family-run business serving Thai cuisine. The restaurant itself is quite small with an open kitchen. I have only ever eaten in there once, but the fact that I came out smelling of food kind of put me off after. Nowadays I just stick to their takeway, most commonly to order a quick pad thai or som tam. Compared to other places, I must admit that the food isn’t great, but it is decent enough and fast and efficient when you’re looking for a quick fix. Service is fast, and I usually tend to collect my food within ten minutes of ordering. dancing-in-high-heels.blogspot.com
Whilst this wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great. Authentic Thai food (well what ive had in the past) should really pack a punch but it was just bland. We had the chicken pad thai, panang curry and coconut rice. Apart from the coconut rice (tasted authentic) I can make better at home and from a jar. Pretty small portions.
We were highly recommended this place as a very good Thai take away by one of our friends. We went for dine-in instead and were severely disappointed. The place is extremely cramped for space, there is hardly room between the chairs and the tables for guests to squeeze in somehow. We hoped that the great food would make up for the inconvenience, but even the food was quite ordinary. Strictly not recommended.
Good authentic, traditional thai food. This place is run by a Thai family and serves the cuisine which hits your taste buds just the right way.The place is nice and cosy, and nicely accessible. It would be a 2 minute walk from Willesden tube station, and we stumbled on this hidden gem by chance. However a down side of the cosiness of this place is the very limited seating capacity. Go here if you ion the neighborhood. I know of a couple of mates who were smart to drive to this place all way from Canary. I would never make this mistake!
