Set in the magnificent former church of St Barnabas next to the beautiful river Dart - The Dartmouth Apprentice offers a wonderful Italian inspired restaurant. The food we cook is driven by a passion to serve fresh produce, purchased wherever possible from local suppliers, and enhanced with the best ingredients from Italy. Dartmouth apprentice is more than food experience. It changes peoples lives. It provides opportunities to local people to train as apprentices whilst working alongside our professional team. They achieve hospitality industry qualifications and then they get help to find other jobs. 100% of the net profit from the money you spend in the restaurant is used to support people who need help in order to become restaurant professionals in some of the growing band of restaurants in Dartmouth and South West. Dartmouth Apprentice is the second restaurant run by high profile London charity, Training for Life.
