About
British Lion is a genuine Freehouse owned and operated by the Landlord. The only pub of its kind in Devizes. Open all day every day with an ever changing range of real ales plus British and European brewed lager, cider and of course Guinness. A wide range of bottled beers are stocked together with non alcoholic, soft drinks and minerals. Tea and coffee are always available. No food is served but we stock a wide range of nuts, crisps and other interesting nibbles. At the rear of the property is a car parking area and probably the largest lawned beer garden in town. In addition there is a covered, heated smoking area. We have been proud to have been included in every annual edition of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for over 25 years.Details

Good old fashioned beer drinkers mecca with Black Rat for the real connoisseurs of God’s own cider. Great choice at a reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Good old fashioned boozer, with ever-changing selection of craft ales. Choice is a little conservative, but the quality is high.
This pub is very good for the drinkers as it does not serve food. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the beer garden at the rear of the pub. Worth a visit.
