We went for a walk walk up the length of the Caen flight and back down, we were ready for the delicious coffee cake and cup of coffee, very friendly staff!
Situated right by the Caen hill flight of locks on the Kennet and Avon canal it’s a lovely spot to enjoy a cuppa and a bite to eat before, or after strolling along the canal while watching the boats work their way through the flight.
We had lunch here of jacket potatoes in the garden watching the boats either finishing the 21 lock ordeal or making a start. Food was good, well priced and served promptly. Nice choice for a snack of a coffee and cake as well.
Close to the car park and just right to get refreshed for a canal walk. Dog friendly and seats outside. Good coffee too.
The Cafe is in a lovely location with amazing views, the staff are very polite and service was quick and efficient. The food and drinks were delicious and value for money.
Enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee here, whilst watching the boats going in an out of the locks. The service was friendly and fast and they even bought out some fresh water for a very hot doggy during the bank holiday heatwave. Thank you!
