I went with a family of five and all of us ordered various things including steak, burger meal, chicken shredded and various side orders. I have to write with dismay UTTERLY RUBBISH FOOD.Will never go back to this place ever. Not sure who are these people who have said excellent food on their reviews.I can expect food can sometimes be less than expected but never expected such a terrible food which was not worth eating so waited for 50 minutes for food to come and left the table in five minutes as nothing was worth eating. Smell from steaks, and all messy food with soggy vegetables, chips and disgusting service.Don’t try your luck at this place. Waste of time, evening and money
Guy on the till serving was a jobs worth! I asked for a chip barm, his response ‘if you can see it on the menu you can have the whole order for free’. So I said ‘ok, do you do chips and a barm?’ Yes he replies and happily takes the money for. I then turn to my friends and say ‘who doesn’t do a chip barm these days’. He says to my friends ‘tell your mate she says one more thing about us she doesn’t get her order’. Which they didn’t proceed to give me, which I admit ended in a slagging match with the jobs worth serving. Wouldn’t have spoken to me in that manner had I been with a bloke, if that’s how you get your kicks,by picking on women then good luck to you. Theres a name for men like you!!
Ate here for the 1st time last night after reading lots of positive reviews. Had been searching for a good all-round takeaway for a while and it didn’t disappoint! Great menu, lots of choice and competitively priced. Great service at the counter. My husband had the ‘Red Hot Salsa’ burger meal and I had a cheeseburger meal. We also had a side of chicken strips. The food was freshly prepared and we waited about 15 mins. The presentation was really good – each burger and chips are put in a little cardboard box. The actual food was delicious, lovely homemade chips and very tasty burgers with lots of fresh salad and lovely brea used for the bun. Overall we were really pleased with the experience and food. It’s a very simple concept but delivered really well and it always surprises me how so many places get the simple things wrong! Well done Urban Grille, you’ve gained two enthusiastic customers – looking forward to trying everything on the menu :-p
Excellent. Great, fresh takeaway food. Couple of quid more than your average place, but definitely worth it. Try it!
Best burgers in Manchester. Travelled to America in 2010 just to eat burgers, walked past Urban grille for 6 months from the day it opened back in 2011 and decided to pop in. Couldn’t believe how good there burgers were. Highly recommend trying this place out it’s definitely not your regular grill.My personal favs are the salsa burger, peppered steak burger and Lamb chops ………best lamb chops you will have.
