About
Believed to be the oldest building in Dorking, dating back to 1405, the Kings Arms is a beautiful pub full of historic character. Originally three farm workers' cottages, it became a coaching inn during the 16th century. King Charles II is believed to have stayed at the pub, and it features in Charles Dickens' novel Little Dorrit. As it was originally several buildings, knocked into one, the Kings Arms is laid out on four different levels. It has retained many of its original features, including cosy alcoves, leaded windows and oak beamed ceilings. Food is available 7 days a week. Live Music every Saturday Night.
