This was my first visit to the Pizza Express, on a Saturday afternoon. Its a busy day I understand with the on going holidays for kids you have a good rush at the restaurant, though we had got our seats easily as it looked quite empty and accommodative. We took the comfortable sofa seats as it was made available to us. We had requested for water the waitress brought 3 glasses of the same kind and one different, we looked carefully to find one of the glass was not cleaned properly, on request the waitress immediately changed it for us.The place looked ok. We ordered Lasagna Classic, Margherita & Veneziana Pizza.The food was hot and tasted good, but it lacked something. If I were to compare I think I have had better pizzas before. Introspection for betterment is required.

Been to Pizza Express at the Trafford Centre twice in the last two months both times food was cold… i do not even mean a little bit… stone cold! First time the server was amazing, and apologised and got it sorter (manager could not have cared less).Decided to give them a second go… then cold again!! This time no apology… no explanation… they did heat it up, but still customer service was not there at all. Was not even a busy service!
The pizza place has a cozy ambience (not too italian,perhaps)The food tastes delicious to me. Services were good too. However, came here after football match and my fam and i stayed at victoria warehouse in which close to the stadium..but it is too far to get to pizza express. So we walkedapprox takes 15minutes to get to pizza express.Food 4/5Service 3.5/5Place 2.5/5Ambience 3/5
Food is consistenly good and although it can get really busy the service is still high
