Christmas Dinner Awful!. For the first time on Christmas Day 2009 we had Christmas Dinner out. As with all Christmas Dinners it was on the pricey side but you don’t mind if you get a good meal.The meal at the Thatched Cottage was far from good, in fact it was awful. The soup was lukewarm, my fish was partly raw and had to be returned, the carrots were overcooked and the parsnips were hard.The service from one waitress was on the verge of rudeness at one stage spilling cranberry sauce on cutlery and down the tablecloth and then not cleaning it up!Not a pleasant experience and as you might guess I would not advise eating there.
