Local and fresh produces, extremely nice staff and crazy nice food! This place really made me appreciate British food!!! This is a place to go with time.. as the dishes are prepared at the moment of request and migh take around 20 minutes. They let you know that in the menu! The cocktails are also so lovely!

I’ve been here several times over the past couple of years. The food is always top draw . They look after you and even gave me a special birthday cake made from Brie last time I went there.

Unfriendly. We had to wait more than 20 minutes for a waitress to offer us drinks, let alone take our food order. No apology for the wait (we had booked) and surly service throughout dinner. They were busy, but then so are plenty of other places on a Thursday evening. The food was good, but overpriced. By the time I added greens to my lamb it came to 21 – a lot for a main course in a gastro-pub. All in all, the place seems rather full of itself, although is obviously popular locally.

The food here was ok but we had an overly rude and pretentious waitress and therefore we wouldn’t return.

I’m judging that we must have caught them on a bad night compared to older reviews…..the food was average at best and certainly not worth the money. The wine was fantastic but the service was beyond awful. Everybody looked a little miffed off. We booked a table 3 weeks in advance but then on the morning of the dinner they cancelled our table saying that we could chose another not by the window – they took our coats, but them left them on the side by the bar, took a very long time to deal with anyone and were very snidey throughout. The food was expensive but bland with not enough vege selections too – overall we definately will not be going back. Shame as we love the look of it!

Delicious meals, menu finely chosen. A bit expensive but worth the money. Very friendly an attentive staff.

Very welcoming with family atmosphere and friendly staff. Service is generally quite good but it’s the food that stands out. Depending on where you sit it can be a bit cramped. Definitely worth trying though!
