I have been going to The French Cafe almost since it first opened. Since then it has got better and better. The food is extremely good, well prepared, and varied and my husband, who is a vegetarian, can find many tasty dishes as opposed to many other cafes. The staff are really friendly and always ready with a kind word and a smile. French music is often played (to my great delight). We consider this little cafe our refuge and, when we are tired or just plain fed up, we go there and sit comfortably and at peace, reading our respective papers/magazines. It was there when no other venue could fill such a demand. In the winter I can sit outside and wrap myself in one of the beautiful, soft blankets. A veritable boon is the fact that one can take ones dog there, after a walk, and relax. I recommend it to all my friends. Long may it reign!
