Mexican OR Mexican’t !? One of the few evenings in the month when I took my wife for a date night – we wanted Mexican food!! We were disappointed that we could cook better than what they served. The salsa and guacamole were from jars, the breaded mushrooms were a soggy mush as they were made from frozen and the shredded beef burrito was a piece of beef cut into slices. It should say Mexican ‘style’ food as I had to use a lot of imagination tonight and I don’t believe the chef has ever tasted real Mexican food before in his life. The ambiance is dated and uninviting, the seating uncomfortable and the service satisfactory however none of that would matter if the food lived up to the expectations.
