I’ve had take away meals from Rajah Rowing Team a couple of times since our friends who live in Dulwich really like the place. They reckon it’s the best Indian food restaurant in the area. I haven’t tried any other so I cannot confirm that.The food at RRT is of course refined to the British palette and I suspect the chefs may be from Bangladesh hence the taste of the food is not very traditional Indian. That doesn’t mean it’s bad.I quite like their biryani and prawn poori (a dish I have never heard of before in India). The curry that is served with the biryani is ok. The chicken tikka was slightly bland but that could have been an off day.Overall decent food. I think it’s priced higher than the other Indian restaurants in the area. I would recommend the place.
