Has potential…. It is clear this is a popular place as when we visited it was packed. The food looked good and the online reviews were solid. The interior is well decorated. When we went, there were tables that were not cleared, but we thought the previous people had just left. So we cleared a table and sat down. Went to the bar to order food to be told it was table service – good! Um, until it took almost an hour to get a waiter to take the order, and only to be told that they had just shut down the kitchen for 20 minutes. Erm, what? Overall, it took almost 2 hours to order 2 burgers. Pretty dire.During these two hours, we observed a pub that clearly was not well-run. There was one waitress who seemed to be working at 110% while her colleagues seemed to be running around a bit clueless. It was clear there was no organisation or management.The food was served cold (bad) and the drinks were served cold (good for beer and cider).
