I’m staying with friends around where The Lordship is in East Dulwich so I invariably passed it on a daily basis.The pub has recently been renovated and it has a really nice vibe to it. The staff have always been friendly and nice.They have a daily menu that has always looked rather delicious. It has a gourmet feel to it rendering the outlook of this pub as a gastro joint.So I ordered the cheese burger because I wasn’t in the mood to experiment. It was a good choice too because this turned out to be one of the better burgers I’ve had in a very long time. It was juicy, veggies on the side and done right. It looked small but it packed a heavy punch.This is a great pub for the locals and competes with a couple of other bars around (holding its own in my opinion ). Highly recommended for the food and ambience.
