The Mug Tree is East Grinstead's original tea room, established in 2013 to provide traditional and high quality dining. An independent, family run business nestled in the heart of the community, The Mug Tree serves only the finest Fairtrade loose leaf teas, barista coffees, exquisite hot chocolate, delicious thick ice cream milkshakes & real fruit smoothies. Famous for its traditional homemade cream teas, The Mug Tree also serves an array of sandwiches, afternoon snacks, homemade cakes and fancies, amazingly stacked ice cream sundaes and other tempting treats. Join us for a homemade scone with lashings of homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream, perfectly complemented by one of our award winning loose leaf teas. We are very family friendly, with a range of toys to entertain little ones and a tasty children's menu. We are also breast feeding accredited and allow friendly, well behaved dogs.
