The pub is a lively place, bigger than we thought, including a large outdoors terrace as well. Looks very traditional and well taken care of from the outside and modern in the inside. The woman who attended us, Laura, was lovely and served us quickly. The menu is short and pub-traditional but the quality of the food is outstanding. Everything was delicious and well presented .
I had a quick layover in London, prior to returning to Canada from our holiday in Croatia. We had read the reviews on online for Prince of Wales, and were very pleased we gave it a go!First, getting there was easy: it’s only a 3 min walk from the Elephant and Castle station.Seating is plentiful, and there’s plenty space at the bar and at tables. There’s good music, great people, and absolutely wonderful food. This is a place equally well suited for a pint with friends, as it is for travellers to grab some delicious bites at very reasonable prices.
Karin and Jess served us with an amazing and well served fish & chips. I totally recommend it. Tempura king prawns as starters is a must. We had a very nice time 😉
