Disappointing. They are trying to do fine dining but its more home cooked than Haute. Started well with some excellent home made bread, however, As for the starter, presentation is being attempted to be high end but whatever left the kitchen was not what we got at the table. Sauces and garnishes had run together and the flavours just weren’t there. Not bad for a mid range hotel restaurant but its not the fine dining I had hoped for (as we experienced at Electric at the Hilton Double Tree). Flavour really needs enhancing, seasoning and attention to detail with presentation. Staff were very friendly although didn’t know the menu when quizzed about an odd green jelly that my wife had with her halloumi (it turned out to be cucumber, much to our surprise). Decor was nice but overall it’s all about the food, and it was a let down. 4/10
