Stocc Lodge is a tribute to the origins of the name Stockton, thought by some to derive from the Anglo Saxon word Stocc, meaning Log. So to answer your question, we've kind of called the pub Log Lodge (in Anglo Saxon). We've tried to capture the spirit and feel of a relaxed Lodge with a complete overhaul of the interior and exterior of the pub with wooden paneling, reclaimed wood flooring and a feature fireplace, chimney and hearth, for fireside eating and drinking.
