After the Autumn Fireworks display in Platts Field Park, all the restaurants in Curry Mile seemed teeming with people, except Kababish. So, we entered, and soon we found out why the place was empty. The service was not up to the mark, and for the time we spent there we understood that the place was under-staffed. There were not many waiters and whoever was waiting were not much competent. Not sure if this is a recent development, because my friend was always praising about this restaurant.Coming to the food, we ordered Chicken Shashlik and the Grilled Cod, with some tandoori rotis and a raita. Both the dishes were sizzlers and cooked nicely. Both of us like the grilled fish more. Perfect blend of Lahori spices, though it might be little too hot for the English taste. I think most of their menu are sizzlers and hence a must try. Not many choices for vegetarians though.This place is not a fine dine restaurant, so the ambiance was nothing noteworthy. The service, as already mentioned, was slow, and we did watch a few people leave after waiting on the table for long. We were served fairly ok, and the later customers were served ok too.Am I coming back? Mmm… maybe, to try their biryani and some lamb dishes.
