We are a small family run business serving fine quality Cask Ales & homemade food with both modern & traditional favourites. You will find a well stocked bar with a selection of different cask ales & fine wines. The food ranges from simple bread & dips to Steak & Kindey pudding(a real favourite) & Chilli. We have a specials board which is updated on a regular basis always offering a Steak & a vegetarian option. We have a seperate dining area however we also serve food throughout the bar areas giving our customers the choice of where to eat. The atmosphere in The Star is always pleasant & inviting. The whole place is exceptionally clean & well maintained. The pool table is an integral part of our bar as are the TV's on which we have live sport. The Star offers a warm welcome with very pleasant indoor & outdoor areas. There is a car park to the rear of the premises and beer gardens at the front & rear, which both have the sun all day long (hopefully).
