Was still a bit hungry after Uchi, so we went to Dotori, was absolutely blown away, fabulously delicious food, we had Yakiniku , portions were just right tasted authentic, we left satisfied.
Went here for dinner with a friend. It passed dinner time but the restaurant was packed so we reserved a place and came back half an hour later. We seated on the bar which was quite cramped but overall still cosy.I ordered Katsu Don (donburi) for the dinner. It was a Japanese rice dish topped with fried breaded pork strips and egg. It was a quite big sized dish, and a bit too much for me. The donburi came with a bowl of miso soup.Overall, it was a great place, a great finding in Finsburry Park area. Would love to come again!
This place is permanently closed. As in the doors are locked, the lights aren’t on, and the windows are painted over. This restaurant is no longer in operation
This is a lovely restaurant and is delicious. BUT… the ‘discretionary service charge’ automatically added to your bill DOES NOT go to the staff. Which I find outrageous. Please consider having this taken off and leaving the a cash tip instead. I hope the owners will soon consider changing this policy to fall in line with what I think their customers might want!
Great place just off Finsbury Park station!I have visited a couple of times, but strongly recommend to reserve a table in advance. Its a very popular spot! I sometimes find myself waiting 4:45pm, just before they open with 15 others, hoping to grab one of their last available tables for at leats 45 minutes..The food and service are great. I have tried both menus, the Korean and the Japanese and think they are equally good. The Donburi’s are one of my favourite.
Yes it’s a great restaurant once you’re there. But they don’t have a system for answering the phone so it can take over 10 calls to make a booking, and good will evaporates very quickly with the frustration.
Really desperate to try Ditori, but I keep called and no-one ever pick’s up the phone so I can’t make a booking. I’ve tried called about 30 times this week, and no voicemail?! Big group of us would like to visit next week, please help!
