Great local authentic Sardinian. We’ve visited this friendly restaurant quite a few times since its opening as it’s very local, and we are very fond of its other stable restaurants in the area, and have always been impressed by the food. They have enlarged the cover area and enhanced the ambienceconsiderably . You very much get the feeling of eating in a local Italian/Sardinian restaurant not least by the steady stream of Italians visiting, so you know it must be good! The cheeses ( smoked ricotta, blue cheese and pecorino) are served with the most delicious homemade chilli jam and honey. There’s a great selection of classic Italian wines but try the Sardinian wines – the Cannonau grapes dominate – soft full fragrant wines – I’m talking red of course- are wonderful. Prices are a good ranging from 16 upwards.- but if you can make the leap to 32 I would highly recommend the Simmaco Isola dei Nuraghi 2005 – we had a second bottle…
