A pretty standard pub. Maybe some plus points for outdoor seating and prime location. I feel that its strategic location is responsible for much of its popularity. Definitely a safe, predictable default option.
Everything you can ask for from a pub. A very wide range of draught and bottled craft ales and beers, the food is of a high standard – particularly the sliders. Upstairs there is also a cool little cocktail bar, during the summer they will often hoist drinks down out of the window so you don’t even have to move.
Wow. The food is everything you need after sampling some of their fine ales. Big, hearty meals that will leave anyone happy. Very simple and well put together. The space inside is big and still not too open so can create a nice atmosphere. Worth eating early as it can get a bit rowdy later on in the evenings at the weekend.
