A very pleasant experience in a very old and exciting venue. More investment and someone with enthusiasm to help run the place like Vicki. We enjoyed our drinks and the experience of the place being haunted excellent. Hope to return later in the year.

The place smells like a toilet. I dont think I will ever bother going in here again. Plenty of much nicer places, which is a shame, as the building has a lot of character and is in a great location.

You wouldn’t think this was a large chain pub as it is, welcomed by such a good team of staff, very friendly atmosphere.I will definitely be visiting again.

Had a great afternoon early evening in this pub on Saturday. Land lady was friendly and chilled, made us feel very welcome.Lush warm atmosphere on a wet and windy cold day

Got barred 30 minutes before I even arrived. Clever me! The doorman on the 2.03.2019 wasn’t very good with faces. Wear sequins or a nice colourful hat to set yourself apart lads and ladies. ????

The place was chaotic and the beer flat. Tried San Miguel and Stella both poor. It’s the glasses problem said the bar staff. Unlikely.

Great Pub, great music and standard Pub Food on offer – option to eat in the bar area or upstairs in a quieter area. The pub is part of the old Bristol history. Friendly staff. Good value here.
