I had been in the Rummer more than a year ago for drinks, and one year later when someone said they were looking for a cosy warm place for drinks it was the fireplace from the rummer that I remembered! We went initially for some drinks upstairs and we’ve ended up going downstairs for dinner, and what a surprise! Service was really friendly and the ambience was so cosy and quiet, the perfect place to enjoy a more romantic dinner or just a relaxing talking with a group of friends. Whereas we weren’t surprised with the snacks from the bar, the food was really good. The salted fish for starters was amazingly fresh. For main I had the pork, vegetables and potatoes and so good!!! We returned upstairs for coffee and to finish our drinks. What a lovely evening misslillysjourneys.wordpress.com
