It’s Sunday the place wasn’t crowded at all! Got recommended here saying it’s better than Dozo but was quite disappointing… Food is just meh and ordinary. But the sashimi and the selection of fishes was quite fresh. Staff are nice and food served quite fast as well

Not an expert of Japanese cuisine at all, but really enjoyed the dining experience at Chisou. The restaurant was fairly busy, staff were very friendly, and happy to explain what recipe items were. Starters were a Sashimi platter, edamame beans, and miso soup. Mains were tofu steak, and spicy prawns. Lovely prawns, and my fellow diner loved the steak. With dessert and drinks, the bill came to just short of 90/-. Really enjoyed it, definitely recommend.

Astonishing Food. I`ve known this place for the last 9 years, since opening. I used to live in japan for 4 years and this restaurant is by far the most closest i`ve felt to japan by far in entire Europe. It fresh food is undoubtable, its sake list is handpicked to match its cuisine and the staff is highly qualified. Just be brave and let them guide you trough the menu as you`ll amazingly surprised what real authentic Japanese food is.

Used to be brilliant…… Used to love this place, good, unpretentious traditional Japanese food at reasonable price (especially considering it’s right in the middle of London) however, I was so disappointed with my recent visit. Quality of food/ingredients has gone down significantly and the price had gone up and what’s worse, the portion size got smaller!! Good business management perhaps but I don’t think I want to go back

One of the best japanese restaurants in London bar none I adore the place
