One of the best coffees in Central London. The baristas have mastered the art of the coffee making – their lattes will warm your heart! They make the best matcha lattes by far too. Love their simple menu and nut bar snack (healthy and vegan friendly). Very ausi vibe, great for on the go or for coffee/brunch with friends. The only reason they aren’t a 5 is because they only use oat milk as their dairy-free alternative…bring on the almond milk!

Great atmosphere and lovely hip cafe design. Sat here and studied with a friend for a few hours. The staff were quite obliging. The array of delicious high quality pastries kept us well occupied. Loved the wide selection of condiments including nutella. A bit on the pricey side but this is average for central Soho.
Great coffee house run by Australians. Only downside is no almond milk available. Some great treats available too. Usual stop when at the office.
Feta fritter with courgette – nice to go with salads in such warm weather. Iced latte looks great… Amazing coffee shop … It’s my usual go-to place
A hipster oasis near Oxford Circus. I was not sure what to expect when I walked into this establishment…I had this notion that it was going to be very pretentious and self-important, but I was really wrong. The decor is super stylish, with funky bench/tables and well-manicure greenery. For some-reason, this coffee shop feels both retro and thoroughly modern. They have high ceilings on the first floor, and the basement actually has a lot of windows for natural light. Everything is white and clean, so it feels very welcoming. The main counter is very beautiful, with wood paneling and white counter-tops. The pastries on display look very appetizing, and the chalk-board signs describe some tasty sandwiches, salads and nibbles. (Pricing a bit expensive in my opinion, but then again, the quality is decent). The real draw for me is the coffee selection. The staff knows their coffee and manages to give you lots without going overboard. This is a good place for a small meeting between 2 or 3 people (though seating is limited and this is a popular place, so be ready to wait if you come at rush) or perfect for the lap-top dweller.
Instagram-worthy interiors and a killer matcha latte to boot, Curators Coffee Gallery is a cafe I’ve been admiring on several bloggers’ Instagram accounts for some time and I finally made it there on Saturday morning.Centrally located on Margaret Street (with another location East), it’s well-stocked with appealing-looking sandwiches, pastries, and cakes. If I hadn’t had brunch already, I definitely would have opted for their brunch menu, but … next time. The matcha latte was delicious (soy also available for my vegan friend) – frothy and tasting like a hot version of green tea ice cream. The airy, light interiors make it a beautiful place to sit and work or stay and chat with friends. It was relatively quiet during our Saturday morning visit, but I imagine it gets super busy from lunchtime onwards – especially on weekdays. Not to be missed. angloyankophile.com
