Efes serves some traditional and delicious Turkish cuisine. However the customer service here is actually appalling. In fact a member of my table likened it to being served by the Mafia due to their attitude to our complaints! Not only did we have to wait over an hour for our main courses, but when we mentioned this to our waiter he said this wasn’t the kind of restaurant he’d come back to either! We were charged 15 for four pieces of naan, which actually should have been complimentary considering our long wait for the food.They even cheekily kept trying to add service to bill even when we said we wouldn’t pay it.To top it all off, as we were leaving a waiter insisted that we tell the manager we had no complaints so that he would be let off the hook. Needless to say, we did not oblige!@ herfavfood.com
Although a pleasant and traditional exterior, I was so disappointed with Efes – food and service. We booked using a deal through open table. 3 courses and a glass of ‘champagne’ for 18.99. There was plenty of food, we selected our main and were brought a selection of hot and cold meze for starter and eventually – an hour after or mains, a disappointing desert. I ordered the chicken shish for main but the waiter, who was more interested in the girls on the next table, ordered me the wrong dish. Instead of correcting this, he just stood at the table, handed me the rice to go with chicken casserole i didn’t order and looked at me blankly. I said ‘it wasn’t a problem’ but it was as the chicken casserole was below standard, something i could have knocked up at home. Wouldn’t go here again and unfortunately won’t be recommending.
BEST KEBAB IN LONDON!!! Every day open and close at midnight, service very friendly!
