The food was very bland. Service wasn’t great. The computerised gimmick got really old really fast. I liked that the food was freshly made but it was just very oily and very tasteless. Will not be returning.

Absolutely love the idea of being able to order your food off the table and play games whilst you wait! However easy to get carried away with ordering. Really enjoyed the food and cocktails here, can’t wait to go back.

I love sushi, and after hearing quite a few good things about this place and a couple of recommendations by my colleagues – I decided to give it a go!It wasn’t a problem to get a pre-musical table for 2 without a reservation. Service was rather slow and not actually friendly. The system is easy to understand. The menu is displayed on the tables via a projector you order and send-off your orders to the bar/kitchen yourself. The food arrived quite quickly, but was nothing special. I would rather speak to a friendly waitress then order myself on extremely colourful tables..Oh well.. but in case you have nothing to talk about with your date/friends, you can always choose to play one of the games displayed on your dining table!

It’s a very fancy place. Good food for vegetarians as well. Bit pricy but definitely worth experiencing once. Staff is very nice & helpful. I loved it.

I hadn’t been to inamo since 2013 so it was great to go back and introduce my friend to it! He’d never been before so enjoyed the novelty of the interactive menu and playing around with the backgrounds and games whilst we waited for our food.We started with the spicy aubergine salad -just the right blend of sweet and spicy – and the fresh and ever-so-pretty avocado salad. We followed the salads up with cucumber and avocado sushi rolls and the vegetable tempura, both of which were delicious! I planned on having the vegetable curry but we ended up pretty full after those four dishes so will have to save it for next time! There are a decent amount of vegetarian options, though would be good to have a few more meat-free sushi roll options as that’s what I really want from a Japanese restaurant! It’s a little on the pricey side and ordering small plates as you go, you have to be careful not to overdo it. But as a special occasion restaurant, it’s great. The food is fresh and delicious and the dining style is unique, adding that little bit extra to your experience. morethangreens.com

pretty average food not sure about the ambiance slow but good service interesting concept (virtual menu)tip, if you are starving and want food in the next 20 min this is not for you go somewhere else, go here if you have plenty of time, plenty of patience and if you are looking for something differentso a friend and i were in sake no hana having cocktails (if you haven’t been there probably its time for you to go check it out!!)after a couple of drinks i said shall we go upstairs and have something to eat?looks like friend was feeling a bit adventurous and recommended this place inamo in soho i was never there so i google it, it looked ok had a look to a couple of reviews seemed fine, so we were on our way, Bad choice next time i wont be listening to friends!!!so we got there! first impressions i wanted to kill this so called friend!!we sat and waiter explained the systemtheres a proyector and you use the table as your screen, you have to scroll and choose your food on the virtual menu, it basically feels like ordering a take away on your laptop!!after 15m going trough the menu i couldn’t find what i wanted to eati like wagyu black cod beef teriyaki chicken yakitory asparagus dragon roll….. anyway 15 min is enough time, so i called the waiter and ask him can i have a menu? im sorry i cant find what i wanna eat, i dont have the patience to go through all of this i just wanna eat please’ the manager came over to see what was happening explained him and after that they brought me a proper menui ordered still water a mojito black cod chicken satay and some rolls we waited almost an hour to get some food.mojito didn’t taste good at all i sent it backdry black codchicken satay was not good plus the peanut sauce tasted like miso sauce?rolls should be warm or room temperature! but these were cold like they have been sitting in the fridge for ages and the rice was undercookwhen the waiter came back for feedback i explained myself and why i didn’t eat the food he looked at me surprised and apologised, at the end he took off a couple of things of the bill and the service charge and on top of that a 30% discount, the manager also came over and apologised, which i thought was a nice gesture and very good customer service sadly food let them down.

It promised much, with its quirky ordering system the quote from Jay Rayner on the tube advert. In reality though the ordering system is clunky and feels like something that would have felt futuristic in the millennium dome but in 2016 just feels dated. The dishes came out quickly, most of which were very small and lukewarm. The prices are inflated for what amounts to well presented wagamama food.
