Great place to go for shopping of Japanese foods and to try the live counters below and in the centre. The wagyu beef and the hirata buns are to die for. The store upstairs has some fresh veggies and great sea food to take back too !! – all in all a place u have to visit if you like Japanese food
High marks for the price and quality of the sushi here as well as the rice bowls here. Better value IMO than its competitors (itsu, wasabi etc). As a consequence I always over eat when I come here for lunch. They have good single item packs as well as a wide selection of multi packs to choose from. Anywhere from 3.59 to 11.50 for the big multi selection packs. The hot food is generous in its portions as well. Only negative is the cramped, limited seating. But it is technically a supermarket .
The sashimi counter is my favorite go to place for my comfort food! Expensive but totally worth it being super fresh. Had melt in the mouth toro from there before but not always available but the salmon and hamachi is always good!!!
