Love the food so much. Heard it is highly scored restaurant so we went to have a go. Turned out to be brilliant as what I expected for Peruvian food I tried elsewhere.
After visiting Peru I became a huge fan of Peruvian food. I really enjoyed Lima, the food was great and the ingredients were very fresh. Presentation was impressive, a true piece of art!The decoration and the atmosphere were really nice however the service what slightly slow.I will definitely be back!!
Our cousin took us to this restaurant during our vacation and it was incredible! The staff is super nice and the place has a great vibe. The food… Oh my God, the food is just perfect! The chef made a special menu for us (thanks for that!) and we tasted many different things, from ceviche to a delicious beef. Congratulations to the chef (I hope you win many more Michelin stars because you deserve it!) and to the whole staff! The next time we’re in London, we’ll visit you again. 🙂
I love Peruvian food and i was really looking forward to try my first Peruvian with a Michelin star @lima_london.Not only the food was so flavorful and tasty it was a joy to look at as the presentation was just lovely, its also exciting to know they are planning to come to dubai :)Now i have very high hopes for places like @coyadubai @maytadubai @totoradubai in Dubai to possibly earn a star as i really think they as good as Lima 🙂
Peruvian is one of my favourite food. Light, tasty, delicate-look. Food at Lima definitely one of the top Peruvian restaurants. We went for brunch. 38 per head is a very reasonable price. Would recommend to everyone, especially girls
I had been super excited to finally try out Lima’s dishes since before the team opened the restaurant. There’s been a huge hype about this place, and Peruvian food has been getting very popular here in London, and rightly so. Some of the best food I’ve ever tasted was in the different towns and cities of Peru. Therefore I was somewhat horrified at what Lima presented. It’s has a Michelin star so I was expecting quality and I suppose that was there. (Average quality of service I felt however). The food was bland, and to be honest, very…’weird’! Perhaps they should have emphasised that this was more Modern Fusion food. There was none of the beautifully tasty and comforting dishes or zingy and fresh tasting ceviche which is what you usually would get served up in Peru. I felt it was missing the true essence of the cuisine. I couldn’t even compare it to the original Peruvian dishes it felt that far off. It was a shame for me since I really was hoping to at least somewhat enjoy the food. Nice decor, good concepts, but felt totally off and I would not return here. Don’t come here expecting traditional Peruvian or authenticity!
