The place is kind of quite during a weekday or probably I visited on a wrong day. It is centrally located, easily locatable with amazing view of London’s busy streets from your table.! Worth the visit! Bartenders are really cool!
Piccadilly Institute has a range of quirky rooms catered to different style events. I’ve visited it on a number of occasions and would be forgiven for forgetting that they were all the same place! On one visit we seemed to have crashed someone’s intimate birthday party as there didn’t seem to be many other people there besides the birthday girl’s group… quite awkward but oh well! I can imagine the party goers enjoyed the setting – the room had several BAFTA like faces and seats which were fun to take pictures with and had some faux extravagance to it.On another visit we went to the main dance area. It was very lively and packed with people. The music was quite generic club music but good all the same. I enjoyed the light up disco dance floor. Drinks were also a decent price for Central London; it would be hard to find many places cheaper in the area. Entrance fee varies depending on how many people are already inside or the mood that the bouncers are in! I haven’t tried the food there but they offer a range of the standard pub/club kind of food – nachos, calamari and chicken. Not a bad place to hire for a birthday party.
If you want a venue with everything under one roof, this is definitely the place to be. The weekend I went there were fire blowers and a 9 foot robot dancing around. You can be sure it’s busy and meet lots of new people. The drinks are fairly priced for a west end venue and the bartenders are really sweet and fun.
